Upon landing at Cuiabá International Airport, you’ll be met by your English-speaking guide and a member of our transport team and begin your journey into the heart of the Pantanal.
For those arriving the day before (July 25th), we recommend spending the night at a hotel in Cuiabá close to the airport like Amazon Hotel Aeroporto. The next morning, we’ll pick you up directly from your hotel to join the group transfer.
For those flying in on the morning of the tour (August 26th), please ensure your flight arrives no later than 10:45 AM. Most flights from São Paulo and other hubs arrive between 9:15–10:45 AM, which fits perfectly with our planned departure.
At 10:00–11:00 AM, the group will depart together in a private van, heading south along the legendary Transpantaneira Highway—an adventure in itself. Along the way, we’ll stop for lunch at a local restaurant and enjoy plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife right from the road: capybaras, caimans, storks, and more.
After approximately 6 hours (including lunch and photo stops), we’ll arrive at our partner lodge in Porto Jofre, perfectly positioned at the gateway to prime jaguar territory.
You’ll be welcomed and shown to your room—comfortable, air-conditioned, and equipped with a private bathroom. After settling in, we’ll enjoy a hearty dinner, review the plan for the days ahead, and get a good night’s rest before hitting the river at dawn.
Important notes for group travel:
All guests must travel together in the shared van transfer.
Arrival flights must land by 10:45 AM latest on August 26th.
Departure flights must be booked for 4:00 PM or later on the final day, as the group will return together.
Guests who book outside these times will need to arrange and pay for private transport separately.
